about
The Water Song was written to honor the message of the 13 Indigenous Grandmothers; to send positive energy, raise the vibration of waters worldwide, and inspire people to protect our precious lifeblood.
lyrics
The opening is a water prayer in one of the 13 Bundjalung languages of the Northern Rivers, New South Wales, honouring the people and the ancestors of this land.
I wake up in the morning and I drink from the stream
This is where I get my clarity
I am warrior, step out into the world
With water as my guide I will give this Earth something else
Grandma says pay respect to the water as it runs through you like a river..
These veins of life they sustain us all
Cleanse and purify our soul
So as we jump in, remember we are whole
Give thanks and praise to the water as it flows
Grandma says pay respect to the water as it runs through you like a river.. (Spanish)
Ahhhh
Sacred waters, sacred waters, sacred waters we thank you..

Thank you for sharing this sacred music Talisman with us. Songs from this album resonate with current transformations on my journey . Your song Protect the Water inspires me to sing to waters whenever I am nearby. Keep singing from your heart & sharing your sparkling light- your music is medicine. Saw you live last year with Nessi Gomes - what a blessing. emeraldfairy
